hi, i am loving making the arboreal cowl, however, instead of rib stitches around the pattern , like shown, i am getting garter stitch, i dont know what i am doing wrong, i am following pattern, and it seems to be fine except for the surrouding knit rib stitches which look nothing like your picure, thanks, nancy

hey, sorry for taking so long to respond, I’ve been in the process of moving.

Anyway, the edging of the pattern is in garter stitch, not rib :)

    To Nancy and Elena,
Press on the area, at the top left of the picture of the cowl, that says r-21 projects- and if you belong to Ravelry it will take you to the download of the pattern.

If you press to the right of this area on a bar that I can’t read it will take you right to the download.

    Lovely pattern.
    Thank you
